In Case of Emergency
- Remain calm. Assess the situation.
- Remove the animal from any chance of further harm, being careful not to be bitten or scratched.
- Dial your closest Pet Emergency Center. Explain your problem to the Emergency Center technician.
- Follow instructions given to you over the telephone.
- Transport at a safe rate of speed.
Please call before you bring your pet in for treatment as this will give the staff time to prepare for your individual situation and requirements.

Arriving at the Center:
- Upon your arrival the staff will do their best to help your pet with prompt emergency care.
- The most critical patients will be seen first.
- Your pet will be given an initial examination and you will be consulted afterward. During the consultation our staff will make their recommendations for treatment.
- There is a fee for the initial examination and consult.
- Payment is due prior to procedure(s).
We will accept payment as cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Card and CareCredit. Sorry, but we do not accept personal checks.

After an Emergency:
As soon as your pets condition has been stabilized your pet will be treated and either:
- hospitalized until morning (or longer if required) and then released to your care for transfer to your regular veterinary clinic, OR
- return home with you and you will be asked follow-up with your regular veterinarian if necessary.
